A majority of websites I build today are content managed as standard. I find that the WordPress platform is often a great choice because it's mature and stable with a built-in REST API. It provides my client's with full editorial control in a way that's intuitive and friendly.
Many websites today still lack adequate support for mobile browsing. I aim to build in this support from the very beginning. An effective grid system with progressive enhancement can ensure a great experience on new and older web browsers alike.

After a few short-term contracts, I decided to explore more freelance work. I had a mixture of agency work and a set of clients sourced by myself working from home.
Structure were mainly a print-based design studio prior to my arrival. Over this short term contract (as their first in-house developer) I helped push and transition them into a more digital space, consulting on the design process and working to coordinate their overseas developers.
A short term contract role at Blue Claw. I was required to enact and develop SEO techniques on behalf of their clients, via on-site HTML5 and CSS3 improvements. This helped increase search engine visibility to work in accordance with their ongoing PPC and link building strategies.
